As others described, cropping and curled negatives are a difficult to manage - a 2nd pass in an editor to crop, color. Worst part is mobile - PC interface. Many times shots show on mobile, but desktop msg is "no photos available". I gave this a 50 strip test - just to glitchy to do more. I can almost live with low quality photos, but the time it takes to redo and keep track is a deal-buster for me.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Try to hold the negative 2 inches (5 cm) away from the computer screen in order not to have the image pixelated. The camera needs to see the side holes to crop properly. Please try again and let us know how it goes.

I had trouble getting any photo from a negative. It scanned the wrong photo or zoomed in of one part of a negative. Then comes the 30 sec commercials. Not a good experience. It was so frustrating trying to use it, then bam another one. I just quit the app and now have no desire to pay for it. **Update** Thank you for reaching out and the advice. That solved it! You have a new customer. Rating changed.

No focus option when trying to take your picture of the negative is my biggest problem. I love the manual crop tool with the magnification viewfinder. The auto crop is mostly garbage. Even when you can see the holes it can't figure out the appropriate crop ratio. I am using the app on the limited version because I don't take enough photos to make the subscription worth it. I wish it would tell you how many shots you get before you're locked out. I would have been more precise with my captures
